What does Sympacare do?
Sympa Care is an NDIS disability service provider. We provide a range of disability care and support services to help people with a disability live the life they want.
Independent support workers can create their own profile on Sympacare that outlines their experience, qualifications, availability, hourly rates, and interests. You can then easily search, compare and choose the right people for you.
How is Sympacare different to a traditional provider?
With Sympa Care , you get to choose your support worker, the days and times of your sessions and even agree on how much to pay. You’re in control the whole time.
How much does Sympacare cost?
Signing up to Sympa Care is free which means you can start searching and messaging support workers. Independent support workers on the platform set their own hourly rates, which are displayed on their profile. You can discuss and agree the rate and schedule with each individual support worker before booking them.
No fees are charged until a client books a support worker and the services are delivered.
What if a client or support worker suggests scheduling care and making payment outside Sympacare to avoid paying fees?
Our fees enable us to continue to grow the Sympa Care community and deliver innovative technology and solutions for the benefit of clients and care workers using our platform. We have made every effort to ensure our fees are reasonable for the services we offer.
Scheduling care and making payment through the Sympa Care platform ensures there is a transparent record of all care delivered and payments made. Importantly, care workers are not covered by the insurance policies arranged on their behalf by Sympa Care for care delivered outside the Sympa Care platform. If a care worker or client arranges payment outside the platform their account may be deactivated and they could face penalties. For further details see our Terms of Use.
